‘Vuka’ by Oscar Mbo & Jazzworx featuring Thukuthela has finally gotten a visual treatment and this one explains the raw emotions behind the chart topping record.
Directed by Megan Welcome, the video of Vuka tells a story of coming together of three men who have one struggle/challenges as well as talent in common. And these challenges and life frustration was was brought them together to make tunes that suddenly tops the charts against all odds.
In the video, Oscar Mbo plays the role of a construction worker who is job hunting and whose wife has just given birth. Thukuthela plays the role of a man who has just arrived in the city in search of greener pastures but is robbed the moment he lands in town.
Jazzworx portrays a music producer struggling to break even. After attempting to pitch his idea to established record and music tycoons, he is rejected. However, on his way home, he meets Oscar Mbo and Thukuthela, who share similar struggles. They quickly connect, and soon after, they hit the studio and create a hit.”
