It wouldn’t be any stretch of the imagination to claim that Murumba Pitch’s upcoming Me To Me album will be the most diverse project released this year by any South African recording artists.
Released solely by Maeywon, real name Khathutshelo Inno Mangolo, this upcoming project will be a reflection of his own musical journey and the melodies that has defined his own unique soundscapes rather than that of the disbanded Murumba Pitch group.
“Me To Me” will be out everywhere September 18 and it will feature 18 tracks that pick up where the Murumba Pitch duo left off before their split, without missing so much as half a beat.
The project will also boast of collaborations from House and Amapiano titans including Kelvin Momo, Brandon Dhludlu and Kabza De Small. For years, we have been trying to understand Maeywon’s soundscapes and for the first time, he is dropping a full length project that fully captures his sounds, breaking it into tiny bits for our easy consumptions and understanding of everything that is Maeywon.
