Shebeshxt’s bail appeal has been denied and hearing has been postponed once again after the state prosecutor brought 6 new charges.
Earlier last week, we erroneously reported that Shebeshxt had been released, and we apologise for the mix-up and misinformation. Last weekend, his bail appeal was postponed, and he was scheduled to appear at the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court today, Tuesday, 25 November 2025. He is facing several charges, including an attempted-murder case involving a motorist he allegedly shot a couple of weeks ago.
Upon appearing in court today, his appeal for bail was again postponed after the state persecutor brought in six additional charges. The postponement will allows Shebeshxt and his legal team time to consult on these new charges.
