Kabza De Small & Asake Working On A New Project

Asake was in South Africa earlier this week for his January 3rd concert. Dubbed one of the biggest events ever organized by an Afrobeats artist in South Africa, the concert filled Soccer City, located on 10 Soccer City Avenue, Johannesburg.

With over 10,000 attendees, Asake opened the 2026 musical year for South Africans in grand style. While he was in the country, Kabza De Small took the opportunity to host one of Africa’s biggest stars. Over the weekend, Asake visited the PianoHub studio, where he recorded a couple of songs with the Amapiano boss.

Asake has always been familiar with the Amapiano sounds and rhythm. His biggest hits were of Amapiano origin with a flair of Afrobeat and wrapped in the sweet melodies of the Yoruba language.

Bringing his expertise and giving Kabza De Small a song that will boost his influence outside the borders of South Africa, he joined him in the studio for some recorded bangers. The songs will be out later this year either as singles or will be part of Kabza De Small’s next studio project.
