Shandesh is about to open the 2026 dancefloor with the release of her forthcoming EP, “The Time Is Now.”
If there is a force in the South African music scene that has contributed greatly to the Lekompo sound, it is none other than Shandesh. Over time, she has consistently delivered dancefloor bangers since audiences first came into contact with her brand, and she shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Over the past couple of years, she, together with some of the brightest talents in the music scene, has consistently dropped songs that have made Lekompo the go-to sound for most deejays, while also growing the popularity of the local Limpopo sound.
After releasing several impressive tracks that are sure to be strong contenders in the 2026 music year, the singer is now gearing up for the release of a new EP, The Time Is Now, which is set to drop on March 13. The upcoming EP will feature two tracks and will include support from Thatohatsi and ChillMaster.
