A typical Lekompo groove just got hardened as a new song from the late Nova Sa Style has just landed. Out now is “Ak’Nyake Selo” and this one is a collaboration with Westboy, Naqua SA, REAL K MFANAKOTA, Osama Mchacho & Jojo Manjaro Jan.
The Lekompo music community will always feel the absence of Nova SA Style. Since his demise, there has been a void that has been created that no one has yet been able to fill. Luckily for us all, Nova SA Style had some pre-recorded songs that are now being let out. One song that was recorded last before his untimely death is “Ak’Nyake Selo,” and this song includes support from Westboy, Naqua SA, REAL K MFANAKOTA, Osama Mchacho & Jojo Manjaro Jan.
“Ak’Nyake Selo” is a powerful Lekompo song with a strong theme that many listeners can relate to. The song talks about loving someone so deeply that you’re willing to do anything for them. By anything, I mean going to any length, even displeasing oneself to make the other partner happy. This loyalty, sacrifice, and protection are what true love is, at least, this is what these singers believe.
