The bail hearing for Lekompo star Shebeshxt will continue today, April 28, 2026.
Shebeshxt, whose real name is Katlego Chauke, previously appeared at the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, for the continuation of his bail hearing. However, he faced a major setback after a nurse from the Polokwane Correctional Facility contradicted his claims of being denied medical treatment, stating that no requests had ever been recorded for him.
Through his new lawyer, Shebeshxt presented a doctor and claimed he required medical attention following an accident that injured his leg, in what was seen as an attempt to strengthen his bail application. However, after strong opposition from the prosecutor, he was returned to prison.
The 31-year-old is facing an attempted murder charge, along with several other charges. As part of the continuation of his bail application, he is expected to appear again today at the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court.
