The weekend just got spicy as Lekompo boss, Natiey Lepaka has landed on our playlist this heavy new production, “MaDouble,” and on this one, he taps on KayyKayy Production & Naija La Lekompo.
I love the fact that Natiey Lepaka is not limiting himself in any way. When it comes to anything Lekompo, the producer is ready to go the extra mile, align with talents that are outside his circle, just so he can push out solid productions that make a proper bang and give the genre bigger wings to fly.
Whether you agree with me or not, the fact still remains that Lekompo is a growing genre. While it commands an army of hitmakers, it still has a pretty long way to go before it can displace genres like Amapiano or even come close to its relevance. What this means is that artists within the genre are still required to consistently deliver impressive records, and in this regard, figures like Natiey Lepaka have done amazingly well.
“MaDouble” is a collaboration with KayyKayy Production & Naija La Lekompo, and together on this one, the trio delivers a trifecta of sound, guiding listeners through Maskandi’s full spectrum. Take a dose below!
