Al Xapo & Benzoo have just unveiled the tracklist to their forthcoming EP, Escape Plan (New Age Heist). To be released this coming Friday, June 19 2026, the EP will come loaded with six tracks including the dancefloor hit, Snokonoko.
You don’t want to doubt the capacity and capabilities of the brains that gave us one of the biggest sounds not only in the Amapiano music space but also in the South African music scene as a whole, do you? When “Snokonoko” was released, it didn’t take long to occupy the charts and dancefloors. It was a hit that was instantly recognised, and sincerely, we also have EeQue to thank for that.
With over 20 million combined streams across digital platforms, and counting, as well as occupying top 10 spots in multiple countries, including Nigeria, the song put Al Xapo & Benzoo on the international map, and they are reaping the fruits of their labour.
Building on the success of the song, the duo have just revealed that their joint EP, which is an offshoot of the “Snokonoko” hit, will hit the shelves this Friday. To be released via “Escape Plan (New Age Heist),” the EP will feature six tracks, including the “Snokonoko” single. To get our blood pumping, they have just revealed the EP’s tracklist, although a couple of songs were redacted.
