Next to appear on our new Friday music radar is none other than award winning producer, Unlimited Soul alongside CO2W for this fresh single, “The Story.”
The last time we got a release from Unlimited Soul was when he dropped “Pressure” with Djy Fresh back in February. It has been almost four months, and the producer is about to end the brief silence with his forthcoming album, Ibiza Unset Frequency, which will hit stores in the coming days. To give us a taste of what is to come, he has served up this pre-release, “The Story,” a collaboration with CO2W.
We were a bit shocked when we listened to this track. Heck, we have always known Unlimited Soul for releasing solid Amapiano productions, but the producer deviated from his signature sound on this one, stepping into unfamiliar territory and venturing deep into the 3-Step and House realm while still bringing along his piano flair and flavour. The result is a song that is hard to resist.
“The Story” is a collaboration with CO2W, and it sees him add his talents to a solid production laid down by Unlimited Soul, offering a compelling mix of melodic beats and catchy rhythms.
