Officixl RSA joins the roster of the Groove Cartel Amapiano session and his performance was more than energetic.
New-age deejays and producers like Officixl RSA are the ones bringing the spice to the Amapiano sound and making it possible for our Ama2000 to stick around. While many of you might feel he’s changing too much of Amapiano’s essence, believe me, these changes are necessary if Amapiano wants to survive the brutal music space that is filled with competition.
Like the saying goes, change is constant, and so far, there are genres in the South African music scene that have gone completely obsolete as a result of the inability of their pioneers to change with the times. As for the Amapiano sound, we are glad that versatile and bright talents like Officixl RSA are the ones driving these changes.
Unveiling some of his newest experimental sounds, he recently honoured the invitation to the Groove Cartel session for this hour-long mixtape. On this hour-long compilation, he plays solid track after track, allowing himself to be completely vulnerable while effortlessly showcasing the range of his styles and curatorial artistry.
