In the next couple of weeks, Tsebebe Moroke will be releasing the Soulful Prince 4.0 EP, and as tradition demands, he is giving us a taste of what is to come with this stunning mixtape called “The Matured Promo Mixtape (100% Production Mix 25).” If there is one thing we love the most about production mixtapes, it is that they are the pure reflection of the craft of an artist.
Unlike typical mixtapes, which include other reigning productions that are not the work of the producer, a production mixtape comprises 100% of the tunes crafted by one producer. So, what this means is that if the productions cooked by a deejay are not melodious and refined, the sets and mixes made from them will be bland and not catchy enough to hook listeners for the next 10 minutes, let alone hours.
But that is not the case for The Matured Promo Mixtape by Tsebebe Moroke. All the episodes released so far by this energetic producer have been heavy and melodious, and have been the go-to mixes for most Amapiano listeners, and this won’t be ending anytime soon.
