Ruff, Emtee, Sjava & Saudi released one of the biggest trap sound via “Ibandla.” Now, they are back with a remix from Nasty C, as if the original wasn’t good enough.
“Ibandla” is the lead song on Ruff, Emtee, Sjava & Saudi’s collaborative album, The Trap Temptations, which was released in June. Featuring 10 tracks, the album introduced proper trap melodies into the SA hip-hop space, and “Ibandla,” which was taken from the album, was already one of 2026’s most inescapable hip-hop records before a remix featuring Nasty C was initiated.
On this remix, Nasty C adds his unique touches with additional verses, while introducing new trap hooks that pull you in within seconds. On this remix, Nasty C keeps the flow of the original and continues with what was already established.
Remixes like this are so essential to the continued survival of Hip-hop music in South Africa. With all said, trap music is now a thing in the scene, especially now that big names in the country are jumping on it.
