When it comes to collaborations, nobody in the whole of the Afro Tech scene gives it their all as much as SGVO. We all saw what he did on “Lawuleka” with Kabza De Small, Mdu aka TRP, “Zawadi Yamungu,” as well as on “Nomalanga” with Kabelo Sings. Heck, these tracks were defining records for the Afro Tech scene, and it looks like the versatile producer is not slowing down when it comes to delivering such energetic songs.
Today, he has returned with another perfect collaboration, this time with Shakes & Les, Artwork Sounds & Young Stunna, and the result is “Thando Awpheli,” a song that has made us revisit his Afro Archives EP quite a couple of times.
“Thando Awpheli” is an experimental song that SGVO decided to unpack for his listeners, and sincerely, we are loving his fresh and new perspectives on the Afro Tech sound.
