“Bolobedu” is the latest Lekompo banger from Natiey Lepaka & Zee Nxumalo and this one is a thrilling collaboration with KayyKayy Production & Naija La Lekompo.
Natiey Lepaka is one of the few talents that have made it possible for Lekompo to stay afloat in the competitive South African music mainstream. With his signature blend of Bolo and Lekompo elements, he continues to rise through the ranks and has now become one of the most sought-after artists in the music scene at this very moment.
With Lekompo already being the go-to sound for many, not just in Limpopo but also in surrounding provinces, it’s now about time the sound went beyond its traditional borders. To do this, assistance and collaborations with artists from other genres would be needed, and for this reason, Natiey Lepaka has been extending his hand in partnership to talents from other genres like Amapiano and AfroPop.
Today, he has reached out to Zee Nxumalo, one of the finest voices in the Amapiano world, and their collaboration has birthed Bolobedu, an explosive Lekompo offering that rejigs the core essence of the sound. And sincerely, guys, such a unique take on the genre is how it becomes a mainstay in the music mainstream.
