Kelvin Momo will be dropping his long awaited Amukelani Album this Friday and we can’t wait to behold his greatness.
Born Thato Kelvin Ledwaba in
Diepkloof, Soweto in 1994, Kelvin Momo is undoubtedly one of the the major figure in the Piano scene whose styles form the bedrock of the Soulful-piano sounds. He is one of the pioneer of the genre and his productions gave rise to the general acceptability of the genre.
“Amukelani” which is due out Friday 9th of December will be Momo’s third studio project and this one will bring a much more melodic piece that expresses his production versatility and ability to create some massive songs that are festival-ready.
You can expect a different experience with this project as it will include some additional elements that weren’t included in his signature PSP productions as well as the incorporation of jazz, deep house, and lounge.
