DJ Maphorisa & Kabza De Small strike unexpectedly with another joint EP called “Scorpion Kings Live Sun Arena” and this collection of heaters promote their upcoming massive show.
Its been almost four years since DJ Maphorisa collaborated with Kabza De Small to form the Scorpion king brand with the intention and goal of pushing the piano sound outside our local boundaries and refining the sound so it can be consumable to all regardless of their musical learning. So far, they succeeded in their quest as the Amapiano sound is undoubtedly one of South Africa’s greatest and most precious export.
Continue to carve out a special place and position in the scene, they are back with a joint EP which they tagged “Scorpion Kings Live Sun Arena.” This album is a two in one project that brings out the latest in their inventory while also preparing us for their next big show which holds on the 22nd of July 2022.
“Scorpion Kings Live Sun Arena EP” clears the air on Dj Maphorisa and Kabza De Small’s remoured breakup and it is also a six-track journey into the depths of their mind and creativity. The EP has collaborations from Young Stunna, Russell, De Muziqal chef, Focalistic, and Ami Faku and each track takes listeners on a ride into the realm of melodic soulful piano sounds.
