Makhadzi Wins Best Southern African Female Artists At the AFRIMA Awards (See List of Winners)

On Sunday, our very own dancefloor queen Makhadzi received her due accolades at the eighth All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) which was held in Dakar, Senegal.

The event which stretched from 12th – 15th January 2023 witnessed attendance by African superstars from all parts of the continent. The award ceremony was broadcasted live on several stations around the world.

Makhadzi who was also a guest at the ceremony took home the awards of “Best Southern African Female artist of the year.”

She shared the good news on her Instagram wall with the caption:

“Congratulations i made it. Your votes counted and thank you very much for choosing me as your Best Southern African Female artist. I appreciate your support very much and Afrima thank you for recognizing my hard work.”
