We haven’t been able to see a duo that matches perfectly the chemistry of DJ Stax & Thabie Ngethe. What they did on Ungayithi Vu is unmatched and it seems more of such perfect melodies are up their sleeves. As someone who has a propensity for rich, emotive House music, DJ Stax has been able to make music that really slaps hard and his newest offering is no exception.
This track is a journey into the mind of the duo and will send chills down your spine. Running for seven minutes, ‘Soyizama’ embraces a dance theme throughout, laced with powerful chords, fast spaced bass, and ethereal vocal — all held by a dope rhythm that allows you to surrender to the music.
With DJ Stax, we know what to expect and this one is no exception. This drop would be one of those 7-minute stretches in time that seems to go on for eternity. Maybe there is a reason your brain processes few minutes to hours. My guess is that its melodies is too overwhelming and our head fails to keep track of time!
