Prince Kaybee has advised yet-to-be established producers not to make music for listeners as most don’t know what they want and would consume whatever you dish out provided it is of nice quality.

Prince Kaybee made the statement as part of his producer tips he regularly dishes out to his dedicated followers who are trying to make their mark on the scene.

“Stop making music for consumers, they don’t know what they want. There’s 7.8 Billion people in the world, you aren’t capable of guessing what they like or what they don’t like. When you are in studio forget what Thabo or Jane thinks, focus on the space you in as a creative,” he posted.

Prince Kaybee is one of South Africa’s biggest house producer. Although he is looking towards the way of retirement, he still possesses some raw production knowledge that he acquired over the past few decades. Sharing tips to producers on how to go about their career is one way he hopes to help the less privileged.
