Kharishma & Ba Bethe Gashoazen seek to bring Africans together via this beautiful new single, ‘Salam Aleikom’ and this one features the production assistance of Vida Soul.
Kharishma wowed the SA entertainment scene when she released ‘Areyeng’ with Shebeshxt, Naqua SA & Buddy Sax in 2023. Since then the momentum has only continued to build exponentially for performer and singer, who is flying high despite being an independent figure. With an accident that nearly claimed her life a couple of weeks ago, Kharishma has embarked on a journey of self reflection and we see that in her newest offering.
‘Salam Aleikom’ is a collaboration with Vida-Soul and Ba Bethe Gashoazen and this one features a melodic blend of Afropop and Bolo vibes listeners can fall freely into. Running for three minutes and some seconds, this track manages to both fit neatly into existing Vida Soul and Ba Bethe Gashoazen’s production catalog while simultaneously finding them explore a new direction.
This drop goes hard with some heavily textured synths and bass, all summed with Kharishma’s iconic vocals that makes it a complete bang.
