If not for the strong love Sjavas Da Deejay has for music, his career would have long ended. Infact, he got into music not because of money and fame but as a way of reaching out to his root and connecting with the people he loves the most.
So while the he wasn’t yet to be celebrated and name not yet on the charts, he never gave up on music because music is who he is. Documenting his musical journey and career thus far, Sjavas Da Deejay has served us with “My Love For Music Vol. 1.”
Sjavas Da Deejay whose real name is Motlatsi Phoshoko has been a big asset to the Amapiano sound. His contributions to the genre and consistency is noteworthy. Continuing to solidify his hold in the music scene, he is here with this infectious new album called “My Love For Music Vol. 1.”
“My Love For Music Vol. 1” is Sjavasdadeejay’s first major release since he made his burst into the Amapiano mainstream. And even though we are, by now, used to the Soulful infused Amapiano he typically produces, he truly outdid himself on this one, exploring elements we ordinarily thought he would touch.
This album is made up of 16 tracks and it features a range of collaborators including TitoM, Mellow & Sleazy, LeeMcKrazy, Scotts Maphuma, Cowboii, Kabelo Sings, Shaun Musiq & Ftears.
Enjoy!
