When Djy Zan SA announced his split from Black is Brown records, many of us thought that would be the end of the Djy Zan’Ten brand. Actually, we were partially correct, as Djy Zan SA was unable to work with his second half, Djy Ma’Ten who was still tied to the label. After fulfilling his commitment, Djy Ma’Ten recently announced his exit from the Mr JazziQ-owned records and the first on his list was to reconcile with his buddy, Zan SA.

Reviving their almost forgotten Djy Zan’ten brand, the two have recently announced that they are are working on a joint album called ‘The Come Back,’ and to promote the project, they are here with this Djy Biza, Sizwe Alakine, EeQue & Mzu M-assisted record dubbed ‘Chelete.’

‘Chelete’ is a beautiful song that shows the production diversity of the duo, featuring serene, soothing vocals and delicate synths along with a hefty percussion.

With this new release, Djy Zan’Ten have revived speculation about the possible fusion of Kwaito and Private School Piano. Have a bite below and don’t forget to mark your calendar on their forthcoming joint album.
