Shebeshxt has just gotten himself into more trouble, as it has been reported by Sunday World that he was involved in the shooting of a motorist in Polokwane.
The incident is said to have happened on Tuesday, 21 October, 2025. Problem between Shebeshxt real name Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke and the motorist started when Shebeshxt was confronted for his rough driving and disrespect for other road users. As it’s common with most road range, Shebeshxt and the yet-to-be-identified motorists started hurling insults at each other.
While they were hurling insults at each other, Shebeshxt drove into a filling station and parked his car. It was reported that the motorist followed him to the garage and parked his car as well. In the midst of the tense situation, Shebeshxt allegedly drew his gun and shot the motorist before immediately driving away. Passersby rushed the unidentified motorist to a hospital in Polokwane, where he is reportedly fighting for his life after being shot in the solar plexus.
“The motorist was rushed to a local hospital, where he is fighting for his life. He is apparently in the intensive care unit,” a anonymous user said to Sunday World.
The shooting incident was said to be reported to Westenburg Police Station, where a case of attempted murder against Shebeshxt was opened which led to the arrest of Shebeshxt, but shortly after he was detained, a constellation of police detectives from the provincial police headquarters arrived and released the artist.
“They took the docket from the Westenburg Police Station and said the matter is being investigated by the murder and robbery unit, and that they would obtain a statement from Shebeshxt and the victim once investigations have been completed,” an insider revealed to Sunday World.
