Mnqobi Yazo maintains his winning streak with the release of another banger, “Inhlanhla,” and guys, you are going to dance hard to this one.
Mnqobi Yazo is one of the most innovative artists you will ever come across in the South African music scene. I know many of you are used to seeing artists limit themselves to particular soundscapes. But such isn’t the case for versatile talents like Mnqobi Yazo.
In nearly 10 years of being in the scene, he has proven his versatility across a host of sounds and genres, including Afropop, Hip-Hop, and, just recently, Maskandi. Examples of his exploits in these sounds can be seen in bangers like “247” and “My Dululu” with Mjolisi.
Taking us on another melodic trip, the producer is back once again with “Inhlanhla,” a catchy song that shows his raw range and melodic scope. This one is the lead song on Mnqobi Yazo’s forthcoming album, Indlela, which will be hitting the shelves on August 28, and, to be sincere with you, it does perfectly hint at what is to come and even makes our anticipation of the album swell even further.
