Between Friends recently partnered with Klipdrift in Cape Town for the second edition of the BF series and this episode is delivered through the stables of DJ Stokie.
DJ Stokie is still one of Amapiano’s iconic figure who hasn’t taken his foot off the gas since he sparked onto the scene in 2016. Years of being a core defender and contributor of the Amapiano sound has seen him evolved with his initial soundscapes, modernizing his sounds to accommodate newer trends.
Continuing to push the relevance of Amapiano to every corners of the country, the producer has paired with Klipdrift and Between Friends for this stunning mixtape. This mix is one hour long and the track playlisted on this one are absolute bop. I know many of you would want to purchase these tracks on your favourite stores, but it is still unknown when they will be released, but we expect it to come later this month via his upcoming album, and if not, in 2025.
All in all, the mixtape is a statement release from DJ Stokie, and a powerful reminder of his versatile talent and creativity.
