In a recent episode of the Piano Pulse podcast, Njelic was the center of discussion, as is the case in every episode where an artist becomes the focus. The question, which aimed to determine whether Njelic should be regarded as a superstar or an A-list figure, received a very provocative response from Mafitsotso, who concluded that the Amapiano veteran lacks proper branding and, for that reason, should not be regarded as a superstar.
Mafitsotso’s statement which didn’t go well with Njelic immediately triggered a response from him and guys, Njelic went a bit extreme.
In an Instagram Live video, Njelic showcased his numerous hit songs that have achieved Platinum, Multi-Platinum, and Diamond status. Issued by RiSA, some of the awards hanging on his wall include Shesha Geza, Eningi, and Nana Thula. Njelic did not stop at displaying his music awards, which only a few artists in the industry have attained; he also went to extremes in his rant, threatening violence against Mafitsotso and hurling slurs at Thakgi. He went further to mock the host, Khanyi Mars, for her wig.

Regardless of what is said, Njelic remains one of the biggest figures in the Amapiano scene and his contribution to the genre has led to it becoming one leading sound in Africa.
