Sgidongo became a formidable sound in the Amapiano scene because producers like Lowbass Djy & Ndibo Ndibs took their time to make it almost flawless. Incase you aren’t familiar with Lowbass Djy & Ndibo Ndibs, they are one of the pioneer of the Sgidongo sound. Over the years, the duo has blessed the music scene with arguably some of the most unique and experimental sounds that keep pushing boundaries to new heights.
In the two years they made their entrance into the music mainstream, they have only supplied us with stunning collection of bangers, and today, they’ve returned with yet another captivating album, 2 Souls (The Preqeul), a 16-track genre-pushing body of work that blends infectious piano melodies with deep Sgidongo essence.
The album balances Lowbass Djy’s captivating sounds with Ndibo Ndibs’s radical production approach and the output is a collection of tracks that fans have come to love.
