The next big album from Kabza De Small will drop May 8 and this one will be a collaboration with The Big Hash & Sly. To be titled “Love Is A Star,” this album is expected to assemble the artists across the South African music spectrum.
I think Kabza De Small has struck gold with his recent approach of stepping beyond the influence of Amapiano and collaborating with artists from other genres. Believe me, since he began this unifying movement within the South African music scene, there has been a major revelation about his versatility. There’s a side of him that Amapiano alone couldn’t fully showcase, but we’re now witnessing it as he continues to blend 3Step, Deep House, Soulful House, and now Hip-hop into his work.
His next move will be “Love Is A Star,” a 10-track collection of bangers that sees him fuse his piano expertise with Hip-hop and soulful grooves.
The album will feature talents like Blxckie, Kelvin Momo, and more. Whatever track you play on the album, it’s guaranteed you’ll most likely be delighted by the warm sound it carries.
