Fridays are some of our favourite day of the week, and for this week, De Mthuda is making it spicy with his delivery of “Uze Nobani” with Kammu Dee.
Real name Mthuthuzeli Gift Khoza, De Mthuda is an Amapiano powerhouse. The Vosloorus-born producer was among the first to fuse elements of House, Jazz, and Kwaito, giving birth to Amapiano, the genre that is currently dominating the entire continent.
As a pioneer of the sound, there is a lot he has mastered, and the vast knowledge he has amassed over the past decades is essential to the continued dominance of Amapiano. We are glad that he’s not slacking when it comes to releasing new bangers that extends the reign of the sound. Giving us his 2026 bangers, he has just released a 3-track project, and “Uze Nobani” is one of our favourite picks from the EP.
“Uze Nobani” is a collaboration with Kammu Dee, one of De Mthuda’s longtime collaborators and one of the earliest vocalists to emerge in the genre. His vocals on this track make the song an all-round hit.
