I love the approach Lekompo artists are taking when it comes to the genre. Not taking a break and giving no room for slack, they continue to expose us to the best of the genre. With his last hit sliding down the charts, Hitboss SA has presented us with another top scorcher called “Shute 2.0,” and on this one, he recruited some of the biggest brains in the industry.
Hitboss SA’s ascension onto the scene needs to be talked about. At a time when Lekompo was still largely limited to the Limpopo region, the dynamic artist brought his versatility, which instantly saw other provinces become interested in the sound. With more ears now attracted to the genre, it only makes sense that he sustains their attention with more good music.
And that is what “Shute 2.0” has just done. The song, which builds on the typical Lekompo template, comes with more aggressive bass and layered vocals that give it a heavier feel.
