No feelings beat our favourites coming together to release a collaborative EP. A Cooper SA & Tyler ICU Collab on a project is what many in the scene have dreamt of, and we are happy to experience it. Out today is “One Day in Tembisa.”
Cooper SA & Tyler ICU have worked together on a handful of bangers in the past, so it seems inevitable that the two entities, who share a strong affinity for many things, including soulful-inspired Piano offerings as well as hardcore dancefloor undiluted beats, would eventually join forces one day to give the best of their styles.
And that day is here. Today, they are thrilling us with “One Day in Tembisa,” a six-track collection of meticulously produced bangers that is designed to achieve widespread auditory engagement. And it will, at least from the snippets we have heard.
Tyler ICU has been off the radar for quite some time now, and with the release of this project, we now understand the reason for his silence. Man has been cooking in private, and we are loving the innovative take applied on this one.
