Soulful prince, Mick Man has once again delivered a high-octane anthem that’s sure to ignite dancefloors worldwide. Out now is “Ungowami” and this one is a collaboration with Malumnator & Mido Mi.
We knew the long silence from the corners of Mick Man meant that he was working on something unique, and we weren’t wrong. Just in time for the main festivities, Mick Man has returned with this mind-spinning song, “Ungowami,” and with the assistance of Malumnator & Mido Mi, he was able to deliver a perfect song of strong soulful essence.
There are times we listen to some Amapiano productions and immediately miss the era when Mick Man and Kelvin Momo were a pair. Heck, there haven’t been any better times than then. The quality of private school piano offerings released was enormously dope, and what brings joy to my heart now is that such an era is now back, as the rebranding Mick Man undertook made him a better producer than he was, this time, without hiding under the shadow of Kelvin Momo.
“Ungowami” is his latest work, and this one is a blend of soulful and classical piano elements intertwined with sultry vocals, giving the dynamic track cross-genre appeal.
