Gaba Cannal whose real name is Khaka Yena is a self-taught versatile music producer & DJ who started his music career as a hip hop producer and a pianist.
Gaba Cannal started producing house music at the age of 18 which Was in 2013 Soon after co-founding TSGq ConSoul project with 2 other Katlehong based Djs.

Gaba Cannal came into limelight in 2014 when he commissioned his “Abundance” EP entitled “, the EP featured songs such as “22 Hours”, “Timer”, “She Makes Me Smile” Featuring Jenerik Souls, “Love & Sadness” and others too numerous to mention.

Inspired by a lot of independent music makers ,In 2014 Gaba Cannal formed his own independent Record label (Gaba Cannal Music Pty-Ltd) and signed some well known local artists :- Master Jay, TSG ConSoul Project, Luu Ninelven, Da Muziqal Chef, Semi Soul, Da Mthuda, Buga, McKay Soul and Ms Villain.
