Amapiano power duo TxC, which is made up of Tarryn and Clairise are gearing for the release of their second studio project, ‘Turn off The Lights’ and this one comes as a follow-up to ‘A Fierce Piano’ which was released in 2022.
I believe the future is bright for TxC. While they may not be among the leading Amapiano figures, they indeed play significant roles in making the genre relevant. In just four years since they made they burst into the music scene, they have worked with lots of notable figures and released a handful of bangers, not to mention their impressive international gigs and tours.
Aside their impressive outings, these two are notorious for incorporating the bouncy log drums and Kota basslines that are symbolic of the 2017 era of Amapiano, while staying true to their own signature style and bringing it up to date with current trends. Continuing to build on their relevance, they have just concluded their second studio project to be released via ‘Turn Off The Lights EP.’ This EP will be unlike any of their previous project as it packs supports from several notable artists as well as a feature from international superstar, Davido. The EP will be out this coming Friday.
