Mr Thela is making history yet again! This time, the Gqom veteran has announced he’ll be embarking on an Asian tour this coming March, making him the first Gqom figure to make such move.
Mr. Thela is one of South Africa’s most iconic and versatile producers. Known for his revolutionary tactics in Gqom music production, he is celebrated not only nationwide but also held in high esteem in other regions. Taking the gospel of the Gqom sound to broken souls in Asia, he has just announced his Asian tour.
The upcoming tour will begin in March and it will take place in China, South Korea, Japan, Thailand and Indonesia. The producer has also revealed that more countries will be added to the list soon.
‘Super excited to announce that I will be one of the first South African artists to tour Asia, including at least four countries consecutively.’ – Mr Thela.
