Again, we are experiencing the split of another music duo. A couple of hours ago, Murumba Pitch issued a statement, announcing the end of the musical duo and the start of their individual solo career.
Made up of Thabang Innocent Mangolo and Emmanuel Nanga Mathye, the group was one of the most diverse that has ever existed in the Amapiano scene. While Innocent Mangolo killed it with its vocals, Emmanuel Nanga released polished beats, and together they conquered the charts and multiple playlists.
As it with most music groups that has existed in the South Africa music space, Thabang Innocent Mangolo and Emmanuel Nanga Mathye are calling it a quit and are now focusing on their solo career.
‘It is with great sadness to announce that after a meeting held on 6 March 2025, the above-mentioned parties reached a mutual decision to terminate their partnership and contractual relationship with immediate effect. This decision marks a new chapter, and both parties are respectively committed to moving forward independently, focusing on new opportunities and future endeavors.’ – a statement from the duo reads.
While the duo will be pursuing their individual career, the Murumba Pitch Brand and all of its business interest will be still be managed by the two.
‘Both parties have agreed that a formal media statement would be released to inform the public of this development. Additionally, the parties will be working together to ensure a fair and amicable settlement of the division of business interests in the Murumba Pitch Brand.’ – The statement further reads.
We wish the duo well as they pursue their solo endeavours.
