One thing I tend not to like about the South African music industry is how easily we forget the talents of artists. If they don’t appear in the public eye for some time, there’s a high likelihood they’ll be forgotten. Semi Tee almost faced a similar fate, but he managed to reclaim his position with the release of a handful of bangers this year. To further solidify his claim to the throne, he has returned once again with Mano Factory.
Semi Tee needs no introduction. The producer is known for pushing beyond traditional genre limits, and today, he has returned with a solid new collection of bangers that is a perfect example of that crossover.
“Mano Factory” is Semi Tee’s last release for the year, and on this latest EP, the producer finds himself celebrating the sounds that once dominated the Amapiano sound and made it a formidable force within the South African music space.
This one is made of 8 solid tracks that captures the full spectrum of Semi Tee’s eclectic sound and reveals a profound maturity and emotional depth. The album boast of collaboration from the likes of Mkeyz, Miglow, Ndoose_SA, and Kailey Botman.
